Ride or drive to picturesque Sneek, moor your sloop or park your car in Sloten, the smallest Eleven Cities town, with its historic town center. Drive to Workum and visit the famous Jopie Huisman Museum. Or get to know the former university town of Franeker with its Eise Eisinga museum, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2023. Very impressive.

Also the larger towns, lively Leeuwarden with its Fries Museum and Natuurmuseum is worth a visit. Or the old trading towns of Harlingen and Dokkum with rich trading history and beautiful stores. You can possibly even if you have time to spare from here, take a day trip to one of the Wadden Islands!
